School counsellors refer to career masters from your high school who will be providing any anticipated / predicted result(s), transcript(s) as well as letter(s) of reference to support your application. You should therefore only nominate your lecturer as referee but not a counsellor if you have already graduated from high school.

You may nominate referee(s) who may provide additional information to support your application to the University. Please be sure to communicate first with referee(s) you will be nominating prior to submission of your application. An email will be sent to each referee seeking their confidential reference after you have successfully submitted your application.

Answer

You can still apply to the University as long as you will have met the entrance requirements by August of the year in which admission is sought. For results that are still pending, you should list them clearly on your application form and indicate when the results will become available.

Anytime you have updated information on your examinations, such as your latest cumulative GPA, you should update your results in your online application form and upload a copy or proof of your results to your application account as soon as they are available.

Answer

You can choose up to three programmes with senior-year places. If you are also interested in admission as a first-year student, you can also include first-year programmes among your programme choices. Please note that you are expected to fulfil the ɫ��TVs Standards here when applying for first-year programmes.

Sub-degree students who receive an offer to a first-year programme may be granted credit units for advanced standing as recognised by the Faculty from their previous education, to reduce the length of time or number of credit units required for graduation.

You are not allowed to choose senior-year programme if you are not eligible to apply. Senior-year places are only for final-year students or graduates of a local sub-degree who are not currently enrolling in a bachelor's degree / higher degree programme. Non-local students, non-final year students of a recognised local full-time AD or HD programme and applicants who have once enrolled in a bachelor's degree / higher degree programme at a tertiary institution and completed one or more year(s) of studies, irrespective of whether the qualifications have been awarded, are NOT eligible for senior-year places and should only apply for first-year programmes. Please check our Entrance Requirements page for eligibility to senior-year places.

You may nominate your counsellor(s) on the application system to provide a reference as well as any anticipated / predicted results to support your application. You may select your counsellor(s) from the drop-down menu. If your counsellor is not listed, you should nominate your counsellor as a referee and ask the counsellor to upload the official transcript with your predictions along with their recommendation.
