In addition to studying International Business and Global Management at HKU Business School, the cross-functional, flexible curriculum gives you the option to explore further specialised areas as a second major in one of more than 60 subjects across HKU Business School and other Faculties at HKU.
The unique combination of exchange opportunity, a second major of choice for all IBGM students, a leadership boot camp, an Asia-Pacific study tour, an international field trip as well as the IBGM Sponsorship Scheme supporting IBGM students' participation in international conferences, service trips, internship schemes, international summer and winter schools, exchange tours and many other opportunities make IBGM an outstanding programme in international business and global management.
Students of the BBA(IBGM) programme are eligible to enrol in the CGMA® Finance Leadership Program and kickstart their journey to become a member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Chartered Global Management Accountant while they are studying in the University.
Your strong business knowledge, social science exposure, and agile leadership skills will put you on track to pursue a successful career in an international environment. In addition to launching start-ups, graduates have gone on to accept positions in well-respected local and global organisations, including Bain & Company, Barclays Bank, Bank of America, Boston Consulting Group, China Construction Bank, Citibank, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, MTR Corporation, Morgan Stanley, HSBC Bank, and Unilever, among many others.
