Study track under MBBS
Students admitted with an outstanding academic achievement plus admission interview results, are given the option to enter a study track under the MBBS programme, MBBS (Distinguished MedScholar).

During your MBBS study, you will focus on four key areas of learning.
- You will build a thorough understanding of human biology in stages of health and disease.
- The programme will also equip you with the skills demanded of medical professionals, including diagnostic abilities, problem-solving skills, effective communication, and clinical management.
- You will take a broader look at the medical profession and explore population health, health services, economics, and policy.
- Finally, your degree will explore medical ethics, professional attitude, and behaviour.
In addition to the student-centred teaching approach, the curriculum also adopts system-based and problem-based learning.
Enrichment year is designed to enhance your total learning experience and whole-person development. You will have free reign to plan and execute your own learning journey in Hong Kong or abroad. Test your theories in the real world through research projects, overseas exchange placements, humanitarian work, community service projects, and elective programmes.
Following graduation, you will be required to complete a one-year residency in a public hospital before registering as a licensed doctor in Hong Kong. Your medical training will enable you to pursue a variety of exciting career options in public hospitals, private practice, clinical teaching, medical research, and healthcare administration.
