What You’ll Study
The programme's curriculum emphasizes a comprehensive education that combines professional knowledge in industrial engineering and logistics management with the practical application of cutting-edge technologies. The main areas of expertise developed in the curriculum are:
Industrial engineering and logistics management –operations management, engineering economics, information management, supply-chain management, and transportation and warehousing management
Cutting-edge technologies for planning and control - cyber-physical systems, Internet of things, robotics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
Interpersonal skills – written and oral communication, analytical skills, group dynamics, problem solving, and international and cultural awareness.

Professional Recognition
BENG(IELM) is accredited by both the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). Graduates can, with proper training and working experience, obtain the status of Registered Professional Engineer from HKIE. This professional status is recognised through the Washington Accord by the signatories of engineering organisations in the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
