The School Nominations Direct ɫTV Scheme (SNDAS) is introduced with the aim of recognising the talent of local secondary students that could not be fully assessed by the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination. It is a “programme-student matching exercise” in essence that provides opportunities for secondary students who have demonstrated exceptional talents and interests in specific disciplines / areas to be considered for direct admission to local universities. Nomination Period: October 25 to December 4, 2024
Eligibility
a) Local students pursuing the local secondary curriculum and taking the 2025 HKDSE Examination; and
b) MUST apply for admission to universities through the Joint University Programmes ɫTVs System (JUPAS) in parallel.
Note: Students nominated for the School Principal's Nomination Scheme (SPNS) under JUPAS will not be eligible for nomination SNDAS, and vice versa.
Nomination Arrangement
The SNDAS nomination period will run from October 25 to December 4, 2024.
Each local secondary school has a quota of TWO nominations for nominating students with exceptional talents and interests in specific disciplines/ areas to ONE of the programmes listed below.

Supporting Documents of the Nominee
The nominations will be verified by the Education Bureau (EDB).
Students nominees should prepare the required documents in advance for their schools to upload along with their nominations before the deadline.
Students nominates are also required to submit their JUPAS applications and any necessary documents in accordance with the guidelines and deadlines set by the JUPAS Office. Student nominees MUST include the programme they are nominated to as one of their Band A programme choices.
Interview and Offer Arrangement
Student nominees will be invited to attend an interview between January and early June.
Successful nominees will receive a firm offer in June 2025, prior to the release of the 2025 HKDSE Examination results.
To accept the offer, successful nominees MUST pay a deposit of HK$5,000 on their acceptance of the offer by the date specified in the offer letter or the offer will be withdrawn automatically. Once accepted, the firm offer will be binding and the nominees WILL NOT be considered/ accepted by the other programmes regardless of their HKDSE Examination results. Their JUPAS applications will automatically be removed from the JUPAS application system.
